A Private Venue
At the Arlington Treehouse we host affordable community and family events – weddings, fundraisers, celebrations of life, adult parties, baby showers, meetings and more.
Everything You Need For Your Event Is Here
Tables, chairs, tablecloths, centerpieces, easel stands, speaker systems, i-pads, an 86” screen, etc. are provided with your event. The Treehouse includes a kitchen, a dressing suite, reception, a dancefloor, a 15-foot bar, outdoor decks with seating, five refrigerators, four bathrooms, lounge areas, etc.
We also provide complete bar, table, dessert and buffet settings for your event. Full china service is $6 per guest. Or service with all of the serving dishes and high quality paper and plastic is available at $2 per guest.
You save money by bringing your own food and drinks. There is no food or bar bill, and you take all of the leftovers home. We provide staff to serve your guests.
There is plenty of free parking, and we are just three blocks from the East Falls Church Metro.
Beautiful and Practical
The 1,400 sq. ft. Ballroom seats 58 people. It has 72’ of windows and all wooden floors opening onto the upper deck.
The room includes our 15-foot stone top bar, bar sink, full size refrigerator, and a restroom. The gas fireplace will keep you warm and three different air conditioning systems will keep you cool. 38 separate, dimmable lights set the room.
The three-level deck offers over 1,000 square feet of private, covered, and uncovered deck space. Enjoy our stone walkway, seating, swings, flowers, music, sunshine, and love.
The Dressing Suites
The Treehouse includes two suites so you can get ready here. For Brides & Grooms you can do your own makeup and hair or bring your own beauty artist. There is plenty of room for your whole bridal party to get ready here.
It’s Fun
The Treehouse is designed to make events FUN for all your guests. We have room to play and dance. Bring your family and friends and relax and enjoy. You have time and space at the Arlington Treehouse.
What is the rental fee and what's included in that price?
The venue is rented for $1,200 per 8 hours.
All the dishes, flatware, glassware, serving dishes, chafing dishes etc. rent for $6 per guest. Or if you prefer, we will provide high quality paper and plastic along with serving dishes and chafing dishes for $2 per guest.
We provide staff to serve your guests - bartenders, food service, greeters, clean up, etc. at $35 / hour. We will give you a fixed price - there are no surprises. Most events with dinner and bar service will require 20 – 25 hours of staff time. Please note a minimum of two staff members are required for all events.
Example: 60 guests
Rent: $1,200
Service ware: 60 x $6 = $360 (or 60 x $2 = $120 for service with paper and plastic)
Staffing 20 hours = $700
Insurance for alcohol = $105 (covers the host and the venue)
Total: $ 2,365
That is the total amount. There are no other charges or fees. There is no fee if you need a few extra hours or if you drop off items early or even the day before.
Please Note for Weddings: We have created two different flat rate Wedding Packages. Weddings are complicated and you will need more time and help. You have options to get married here, decorate, practice, dinner the night before, etc. Please see our Wedding Packages. You also have an option to have a regular one day event if you prefer.
Tableware & Serving Items $6 per guest or $2 with paper and plasticware
Includes: tableware settings / chinaware, glassware, bar glassware, coffee service ware, serving dishes, chafing dishes, napkins, utensils, cutting boards, bread baskets, water pitchers, flower vases, salt & pepper, ice, etc. Everything you need to have a great party is included. You bring the food and drink, and we’ll do the dishes.
Staffing $35 / hour
Staff members normally handle all food service, bartending, greeting guests, cleanup and general guest care. Staff will help you to breakdown and load your car.
We are here to make 100% sure your event is fun, safe, and easy for you and your guests. From setup to breakdown, and everything in between, our staff is here to help.
Insurance is Required
Event insurance is required. Insurance is available at www.EventHelper.com for $105. You may use your preferred provider. Please ask.
A Deposit is Required
A signed contract and non-refundable $400 deposit are required. The balance is collected on the weekend of your event.

What is the capacity of the Treehouse?
56 guests for dining and dancing. We have over 3,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and 1,000 sq. ft. of deck space, plus the garden patio and grounds.
What is the cancellation policy?
Sometimes life happens. If you need to cancel your event we will refund your deposit.
Can I have my wedding ceremony and reception at the Treehouse?
Yes! You save time and money because you do everything in one place. On Friday you have time to set up, decorate and rehearse and even have dinner here. On Saturday you have time for makeup and hair, getting dressed, first look photos, speeches, reception and lots of dancing. At the Treehouse you can enjoy your entire day and relax.
Get married outdoors in our Garden Patio or indoors in the Ballroom. If the weather is poor, the Ballroom is ready.
We want you to have a wonderful day. From 8:00 am Saturday you can take your time to get ready, have a spectacular ceremony and then have time to relax and enjoy your family and friends. And dance.
What are the policies on alcohol?
You may bring your own wine, beer, and spirits into the Treehouse. Event insurance is required [ $105 online]. This insurance covers you as the host of the party serving alcohol. Secondly it covers the venue from damage.
The Treehouse does not sell or provide any alcoholic beverages. You must bring your own. As the host you are serving alcohol to your guests. Event Insurance gives you $1,000,000 in coverage for the day.
What are the policies on food and non-alcoholic drinks?
You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Or we will coordinate with your caterer.
We also offer soft drink and coffee & tea services. And our staff can set up and clear your food tables.
We have full tableware settings, barware, and service ware available. We have a kitchen and two refrigerators for holding and heating food.
Do you have a sound system?
Yes we have a very loud JBL Party Box speaker system in the Ballroom. We also have outdoor music for your ceremony. Plus we have i-pads so you can select your own playlists.
Do you allow outside vendors?
Outside vendors are allowed upon approval. Vendors working on-site during the event [ photographers, DJs, etc. ] must provide proof of insurance.
Does the Treehouse offer catering?
No. You must bring your own food and alcohol. Our staff will handle all of the set up and serving of food and beverages.
We do have Coffee & Tea service included for your convenience.
Our staff will handle your food and beverage requirements. We will coordinate with you to prepare and serve food and drinks. We’ll set up the buffet and clear all the tables.
Staff will set up a cake table, desert tables, food stations, bar stations, etc. We will do the cake cutting and service, champagne toast or whatever you want to do.
You can have any food and drinks you want brought in. We want you and your guests to take the day off.
Can we cook in the kitchen?
Staff will cook and prepare items as needed and kept food warm or cold in the kitchen. The Treehouse has five refrigerators, two microwaves, a stove, double ovens and warming containers for holding and warming food.
Is there a dance floor?
Yes. All our floors are wood or stone inside and out. You can dance everywhere – including on the dance floor.
Is there a stage?
There is a raised 4’ x 8’ platform on the Garden Patio. Accommodation can be made for other staging if required. We do have microphones for speeches.
Are there changing areas?
Yes. There is a large dressing room with a full bathroom and makeup area. We will open a second dressing room for larger events. There are four bathrooms available.
Is there parking available for guests?
Yes. The Treehouse has four private parking spaces for your use. Plenty of free street parking is available. There are always 30 or more open spaces within a block.
We are three blocks from the East Falls Church Metro. The metro offers the perfect connection to hotels, restaurants, museums, and the city.
Is the Treehouse accessible to guests with disabilities?
Yes and no.
The Treehouse has a lot of stairs. The Ballroom is located on the third level. Guests climb two flights of stairs to get there.
There is a bathroom on every floor including the Ballroom, so guests do not have to go up and down to use the restroom.
There are chairs for people to rest between floors for guests who need a little extra time.
Handicap parking is available in our parking area.
What are the restrictions on décor and other items?
There are restrictions on hanging decorations, but we will accommodate your requests if we can. The Treehouse features many opportunities for you to display photos or artwork.
Please Note:
No colored rose petals [ white petals are OK outside only ], no colored dyes, no hair dyes, no confetti, no rice, no birdseed, no sparklers, no fireworks, no spray string, no glitter, no open flames, no noise makers, no releasing balloons. Please ask about other items.
Dogs or other animals are not allowed in the Treehouse.
No illegal activities, narcotics or weapons of any kind are allowed at any time. We reserve the right to terminate any event at any time for violations of our contract or for any reason management determines necessary. No refund of any kind will be made for violations of our contract.
What happens if there is bad weather on my event day?
We have a party! The Ballroom is ready if the weather is poor..
The lower decks and stairways are covered. Plus, guests can spread out to the dressing room, the kitchen, the reception lounge area and the grounds. The children will discover the game cabinets. We have over 5,000 sq. ft. of indoor and covered patio space. No rain is going to ruin your party.
Do you have a lighting system?
We have 37 dimmable lights in the Great Room and 72’ of windows.
Do you have tables and chairs?
We have seating for 58 people for dinner and more on the leather couches. Ample additional seating is available throughout the decks, house, and garden. And our chairs are comfortable.
For an outdoor ceremony, 64 white chairs, a runner, arch, stage, sound system and exterior decorations are available.
Do you have linens, silverware, glassware, barware, desert ware, serving dishes, serving utensils, chafing dishes and serving containers?
Yes. Tableware and serving items are all included. This should save you a ton of work and money by having it all here, ready to go. Nothing to clean up or return. You won’t run out of anything. We even have to-go food containers if you need them.
Do you have a bar?
Yes - and TWO bartenders at all times. We have a 15’ stone top bar with a bar sink, two refrigerators, microwave, and all bar supplies including water, wine and cocktail glasses.
Do you have a coat check?
We have dedicated space for guest coats and hats. Guests store and retrieve their own property.

Do you have a coordinator on staff?
Yes. Staffing is available to make your event run smoothly. There is always a staff member on duty to handle questions during your event. We will help you to coordinate your day here at the Treehouse.
Smoking
Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas. Legal products can be consumed. There is no smoking inside the facility at any time.
